I'm going to London, Spain, and Rome.
In general, you can bring back almost anything, except plants, fruits, vegetables, meat, and, in general, most food items. There are some exceptions to the general food/plant rules. You may bring home baked goods, cheese (so long as it's not the soft, spreadable kind; if it's runnier than a Brie, no dice), candy, roasted coffee beans and dried teas, seeds for vegetables or flowers but not trees, mushrooms, and packaged fish (e.g. smoked salmon). You are allowed to bring in $400 worth of goods per person without paying duty. More than that, and you pay duty.
