so that when they need to be rescued, it is not on the taxpayer's burden.Would such an insurance even be feasible. Who would insure, since there is so much risk.Should society foot the bills for their escapades?

I think so. They are going to need it when they get hurt really badly.

Yes, but it is likely to be very expensive. First, the average insurance company is unlikely to have such a policy available. The person would have to go to one of the specialty insurance companies that offer policies flexible to fit any situation. They cost even more than the basic insurance company policies.If the person is going to take such dangerous risks he should think about protect if he laid up or killed. If he/she dies, they may have a family that will be left with a lot of expenses and no income from that person.

Is doing battle with garden gnomes classified as an extreme sport yet? If it is, then I would say: extra insurance, extra ammo, and an extra large baseball bat.You WILL need to be rescued, and it should not be the taxpayer's burden.
