A B&B or an Inn, they are not the same thing. A B&B generally does not have a drinks licence and an Inn is a pub (public house) with rooms.Stay in both and ask questions

Start by going to Inns. Compare them and keep a log on how each expericance was. You could interview the owners, I'm sure they'd be willing to help you. You could also interview others that have been to different Inns. That would be a great start I think.

go onto the internet and get info on differeant places you can noramlly get all sorts of stuff if yousend a email or request a free brochure! use this info and you can compare place to place for the best results

Have a Introduction explaining the purpose of the essay, usually a good size paragraph. Then, I would start with a Brief History of them, and the purpose the served. Then maybe something of how they have Changed over the years. Then go into the Details of Managing the inn. Things like food requirements, preparation, cleaning and supplies. Does it have entertainment for the Guests? Swimming pool, Horseback Riding, Tennis, Workout Room, etc. Then end with a short summary which may included what you have learned from your research.

For writing an essay:: 1st of all it's good to brainstorm all question and ideas you have about the topic and about BnB inns. Anything!!! If you haven't been to one, write down a list of ur dream BnB list of requirement. Any silly question and ideas are useful.Concurrently while writing all ur questions and ideas, type any keywords related to it in internet. We call it Google power!!! hahaha...If you want it to be scientific, search in journals an papers database and also newspapers. I believe your topic is under Hospitality cathegory.Real reasearch is always the best idea. Try to taste to stay in BnB as a customer. If it;s possible, try a range of good, medium, and bad quality of BnB.Talk to the BnB owners! Of all or maybe enough with the important + silly-but-constructive question.Then you can always do survey to both BnB customers and BnB owners, and even the people who don't even know what it is.It can be really wide. Thus, it's better if you can define your narrowed topic i.e. How to run the best BnB, The evolution of BnB in history, What are the three things BnB must have, etc....anything that will make your essay sweeter.cheers*tika*
