what would you prefer? trip to Hawaii or trip on a royal caribbean cruise?

Cruises are great (I went on one to Mexico once) and a lot of fun, but I already live in the Caribbean so I guess my answer would be Hawaii, go somplace I've never seen before.FR

I've done both in the last 3 years. It's a tough choice. Coming from NY, Hawaii is a long flight. But it was absolutely amazing. If you haven't been there, it's like nothing you've ever seen. Pictures don't do it justice.Royal Caribbean is a fun trip. I've cruised with them twice, and loved it both times. No complaints.Given my experience, my answer would have to depend on how long the trips are. I wouldn't go to Hawaii for only a week. I'd need at least two weeks, especially considering how long the flight is. If I only had 7 days, I'd choose the cruise.
