if you don't have blonde hair and blue eyes you can stay in a concentration camp as long as you can hold your breath.

A US citizen can enter Germany without a pre-arranged visa and stay for 90 days without additional paperwork.

It has been a long time since I was in germany, but at that time you could spend 30 days with out a visa of one type or another.

Bon voyage and wish you nice trip on Germany. I know you can not stay long without questions..!! However I could suggest you keep note and list all questions arrises while on trip. Be enjoyed with fun there, shoot all listed questions at a same time as soon as you back from vacations..

no more than 90 days. my good friend had experience with that.
