Does the ship have a basketball court? that's my easiest question. My next one is what do they put in your state room, ocean view, like soft drinks and stuff like that that costs extra, and if so is there a way to remove it? What hidden costs are there? Is the pizzeria and winjammer cafe free, with your accommodations? What restaurants/food places cost extra? How much is a soft drink? Reviews about an ocean review state room on majesty of the seas, please and thank you!

The three original mega-ships - Sovereign of the Seas, Majesty of the Seas, and the Monarch of the Seas - have some of the smallest standard size staterooms on the water. These ships are used primarily for 3 & 4 day cruises. The interior is very elegant.Unless they have changed, there are no freebies in the staterooms - like a mini-bar. They want you on deck, where you will have to leave a tip. I believe there is no charge for soda, but you will have to review the web site for Royal Caribbean to see about other charges. Thew web site will also have (or should have) deck plans for each of the ships.I believe the Windjammer is free; pizzerias are usually free on other ships.Unless you are committed to RCL, I would also explore Carnival. The rooms are much larger, and they are usually more casual and laid back. However, this site should only be a starting point. Explore the web sites for the cruise lines and check what's included. I can't vouch for RCL, but if you tend to have motion sickness, Carnival's ships feel like they are tied up at dock, even on the high seas. These are the only ships I have been on that are so stable (short of a storm, of course).NOTE: Watch the "Sign and Sail" programs. You might not be able to avoid them, but your money will be spent faster than you think unless you keep very close tabs on what you are spending, since you get a bill at the end of your cruise.
