Coca Beach Florida, Daytona Beach Florida, etc... gets warmer further South, but Miami can be pricey (but if you're looking for nightlife on top of the beach you really should go to Miami).

Depends on your season.In the winter, Florida's just about your only option.In the summer, North Carolina, is said to be very nice.

Hollywood Beach in Florida is close to Miami but without the craziness and high prices. But don't go during hurrican season.
