they do if you call housekeeping and ask...i'm not sure why they dont just have them available... maybe they wash their face in the shower and not the sink? i also noticed that french restaurants will never have butter at the table (with bread) and other little strange differences like that .

Europeans do use them IF they belong to them. I could not imagine wiping a hotel face cloth over my face......who knows if it's been boil washed and sterilized....think of what it may have been wiping before.Ewww!!Yuk!

Every European is an individual just like other humans so you can't generalize.Some use them, some don't...
