My grandparents recently bought in at $32k + annual fees (for a 2 BDR). Is this a good deal or a scam?

I beg to differ with the previous answers.. It all depends what kind of time share you buy.. I have owned two timeshares, one for the last 20 years and have been able to trade for locations all over europe and the States. The only thing to consider is if you can affordit. You can buy it in the secondary market for a lot less. The location etc. Find out more about them from somebody that is resaling theirs........

With those costs they would have to spend a lot of time there to make it pay. I don't think you get a lot of appreciation with a timeshare.

Most timeshares are "scams".When you get sick and tired of going to the same place annually, at a particular time annually.Flipping the timeshare is extremely difficult and you will essentially be trying to scam some poor, uneducated fool into the lair/trap.
