i always thought the east coast of Spain was fine. Anywhere from Barcelona down to Benidorm. Night life and shopping suited the area and all nationals were friendly

The beaches of the Algarve in Portugal are very nice. Lots of soft sand, sun and open spaces. The weather, the food, the people and everything is wonderful. http://www.algarve-info.com/travel/beaches.htmGreece is nice - but kind of hard to get to the islands.French Riviera is filled with jetsetters ...Costa Del Sol is pretty, but I still prefer the beaches of the Algarve. You can rent a car and drive to the different beaches.

What most people don't know is that there is many beautiful beaches in Scandinavia. The Swedish "skargard" is very beautiful. But if you want to go to a tourist beach, go to France, Greece, Spain or something like that!I've been to all of those countries, and there sura are some beautiful beaches there.
