beach, not in big hotels in the city

Check out condo's in Waialua, the one we just stayed at slept 4, and it had a beach directly across the street. It's quite though and away from the hustle of the tourist area of Waikiki. Nearby in the town of Haleiwa ( 3 miles away ) were many restaurants and Matsumoto's home of the shave ice.

Pacific Beach Hotel, is located right across the street from the beach, and it is the quieter side of Waikiki going "Diamond Head". My husband, son, and I have stayed at this hotel three different times, and have enjoyed it tremendously. We had stayed at the Radisson Prince Kuhio, and at the Waikiki Beach Marriot Resort before also.For the money, it is Pacific Beach!! The breakfast buffet in the Oceanarium is great!! A 350,000 gallon "tank" that is on 3 floors that you can view in the three restaurants at Pacific Beach is a must see!!
