Visit raileurope.com for the tickets. I think flight shold be cheaper then train for that far distance.

If you change trains in Paris, that would be more than 18 hours on-board a train, depending on your final destination. This is likely not to be very comfortable. The longest ride I've ever taken was 13 hours, and it was quite unpleasant. Unless you are accustomed to traveling so far in this manner, you may wish to look for a flight instead. The cost of train tickets would be nearly $400. Best of luck!

I suggest you to cut your trip into to parts:1.Part: London Paris. If you take the Eurostar (via Eurotunnel) you will spend a lot of money.Take a bus http://www.eurolines.com .I don't know why but it is much cheaper then train in spite of the fact that bus takes the train.2.Part: Paris Roma (or Florence).Book your train in advance via internet on http://www.trenitalia.com and if you are lucky you can get a couchette for only 35 euro (it depends how in advance you book!).
