...of the year? I'm planning to "tag along" with my hubby business trip around Jan-Feb 07 to Lausanne, Switzerland. He's going to spend about 2 weeks working and I'm planning to spend at least a week during the time. This will be my first European travelling, so I need travel advice to be able to maximize my short visit in Lausanne with my husband. Thanx for your answer.

Lausanne is a lovely city but January-February are mighty cold month and I do not think you can do much sightseeing. I am enclosing some sites you might look through and get ideas.
