theme (not instructional) to read on plane trip to Scotland? Good friend of mine is traveling to best friend's wedding in Scotland. Friend plays golf at least once a week, is really into the game, and I believe plays well. He has recently gotten his teenage son interested in the game. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thank you.
A must is "A Good Walk Spoiled" by John Feinstein. Check some of his other books as well. go to www.pgatour.com for more info. Good golfing!

I agree whole heartedly with "A Good Walk Spoiled"Some other great choices are "The Open" also by Feinstein, "Somewhere, a Village Is Missing an Idiot" by David Feherty and "Cinderella Story" by Bill Murray and George Peper. All are excellent golf books, really great reads, and not instructional.

Miracle on the Eighteeth Green by James Patterson. Wonderful book!! Little unrealistic, but it's fiction.
